See-it was the type of restaraunt where you have 3 knives and 3 forks on each side. So, using the advice i learned from the movie Titanic, i started from the outside and worked my way in.

I had fruit/seafood/ravoli ( i know werid combinations)..but i had a seperate plate for each genre, because (call me werid..again) but I hate my food touching, and I also looks better.

So..

I decide to wait for Terri before I start to eat.

I wait...

...and wait..

..and wait...

finally i see her, with a MOUNTAIN of food..

headed my way.

She didnt realize you could have more than one plate,

so instead, she piles ALL the food on a single plate and is so proud of herself for being able to carry it to the table.

It was DISGUSTING.

she had veggies, then cranberry sauce, then sushi, then mashed potatos, then a WEE bit of turkey, then some fruit and finally and couple of shrimp and a little lobster.

I am telling you-it was all layered in, topped with gravy, because Terri knew no other way.

So she gets all pissed at herself saying how i am SO smart because I realized that you could use seperate plates (in all reality though, i just used common sense)..

Then after the whole dinner she-bang, we went to the Fairmont Hotel, and my mother became friends with these 2 indians that run the Kashmir store. She tried on this coat thingy and started crying saying how it was SO BEAUTIFUL and she wanted it and she just wandered around the store touching things and murmuring 'unbelievable' and 'this is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen'.

And OF COURSE my mom had her digital camera so OF COURSE she took a bazillion pictures of her/me/indian guys against oriental rugs/clothing/beaded purses..ect.

I basically had to rip Terri away from the jacket, but apparently she is making down payments on it (its 850.00 dollars) so eventually it will be hers.

You will also be happy to know that the money she is using for the downpayments is my money for college.

grr.

also-Terri wants a job at the Kashmir place and is probably going to apply Monday.

Good Lord.

Honestly-many people have told me that there would never be a dull moment with a mother like Terri, and yes, you are correct.

But also, having a mother like terri is like having an untamed koala. you have to keep a very close eye on her because she tends to wander and get verrrry excited.

And when she gets excited she cant think. I guess there just isnt really enough room in her mind.

hehe.

Oh also- i have a funny terri/cooking pancakes story, but that must wait for tomorrow because this entry is dreadfully long.
